He writes across all ten episodes on SEASON FOUR which covers an explosive decade in politics - the 1980s

The show stars Olivia Coleman as the Queen, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret and Gillian Anderson won an Emmy for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher.

A madcap adventure ensues for the team when a mysterious fireball crashes in the woods near St Hearts.

Can the team recover a crucial piece of the wreckage which threatens national security without blowing their cover?  Believing it to be a UFO, the school pupils swamp the site of what turns out to be a enemy satellite which KORPS are desperate to get hold of.

When government food advisor Monoblot is sacked after highlighting the dangers of a revolutionary sugar substitute, Cupodium, he seeks retribution and unleashes a virulent form of the substance into the food chain. The spies must find the antidote and stop Monoblot before the school and whole country is affected and subsequently destroyed by the final stage of the compound - Rage!

Series 2 of the DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK which was written by Malcolm McGonigle & Michael Beck has won a BAFTA Scotland Award for best children's show 2015.

Corks have been popped and much celebration has ensued

The Dog Ate My Homework is CBBC's one and only comedy panel show.

BAFTA-nominated comedian and CBBC favourite Iain Stirling presides over the school-based fun, which features a mix of celebrity and junior panellists.

The Dog Ate My Homework is a mischievous mix of tongue-in-cheek comedy, off-the-wall questions, nonsensical studio games and slap-stick challenges.

 

Malcolm is a co-writer with responsibilty for five episodes -  2,4,6,8 and 10 - and an input across the entire series.

The show stars Iain Stirling and has a variety of special guests including Susan Calman.
